IBM has posted update notices for the following drivers on the IBM web site.
There drivers are now available through IBM's Software Choice and the Driver
portion of the eComStation web site. However, please note that despite the
update notice and date change, some file sizes have not change.
- USB Basic Device Support Package (OHCI/UHCI/EHCI). File name: usbehci.exe
- Updated Intel PRO/1000 Copper Gigabit Ethernet 82544EI, file name ibmgc.exe
- Updated Intel PRO/1000 Fiber Gigabit Ethernet 82542, file name ibmge.exe
Marked on the IBM web site as updated on January 14, but the file size (44,171) has not changed.
- CDROM Drives, Universal Serial Bus (USB)CD-ROM Support Package, file name: usbstor.exe

The Applause scanner drivers have been released for eComStation. You can download them by logging in and selecting "latest downloads".
The package for Epson scanners will follow shortly. Download of the file is about 2 megabyte.

Evgeny Kotsuba hat die bekannte OpenGL library portiert und fuehrt die Anpassungen fort. Soweit ich weiss, benutzt er diese technologie in seiner Firma zur Konstruction von kleinen objekten mittels laser und im FreePM Projekt (Ersatz fuer den OS/2 PM).
Er hat ein paar Beispiele veroeffentlicht examples. Hmm, wo ist die Run-time?!

Vor ein paar Tagen IBM veroeffentlichte 'Rueckzug ausgewaehlter Produktnummern'. Sorry, aber wir ignorieten dieses Topic den diese Plaene seit ein paar Jahren bekannt und nur alte Produkte wurden zurueckgezogen.
p.s. Anstelle von negativen Reaktionen, enthaelt diese news einen zusaetzlichen Hinweiss auf eComStation - die neue OEM version von IBM OS/2 Warp.

eComStation.Ru hat eineAPeCS Datenbak mit Infos ueber frische eComStation Software. Ihr koennt selbst Infos in die Datenbank hinzufuegen.
