The URL in the green 'translate' window at the top of this page is missing 'ru'. It should be:

From (the translated version of) this article and several other reports which I found on the Internet I understand that installing eCS 2.1 on any(?) T61 should go smoothly. That may be the reason that all these reports are very brief and contain very few specifications (for BIOS settings and pre-boot paramaters).

But all attempts to install eCS 2.1GA on my Thinkpad T61 (type 6460-65G) failed so far.

This article suggests to set SATA to AHCI and use DANIS506. But there is a 'performance' and a 'compatibility' mode for DANIS506! Which is the right one?

Anyway, I've tried with SATA set to AHCI and compatibility, but whatever I select for 'target hardware' and '1. Controller' the install fails with the reason: it cannot find an installable volume. This is regardless if such a volume is created on beforehand (with DFSee) or during install with the volume manager.

Any suggestions for a possible solution?

Regards, Rob.

Addition to previous comment:

Just by sheer luck I found out that after installing a boot manager the installable volume was recognised bij the installer!

eComStation it's a reactive system, comfortable to use. 'Pre-emptive' multitasking + support of multi-processor/multi-core computers since 1994 + major part of programs are using Multi-threading.
