Nach Aussage eines IBM Vertriebsmitarbeiters wird die Version 8 der DB2 Mitte des Jahres erscheinen. Dann sind auch die wichtigesten Informix Sachen integriert. Es wird auch eine OS/2 Version geben. Lt. Vertrieb erfreut sich OS/2 immer noch einer grossen Beliebtheit, gerade in Embedded Systems.
