I'm using the HP8550 which is a big A3 one and works fine, maybe slightly better (quicker) under OS/2 than Win. Can change paper types, etc. For photos its a laser so not like the inkjet. Probably its newer siblings would be OK as well as the A4 in the similar series. Bought mine used.

I also use the HP C 8550 and would rate it as good. Slow to start but thats the printer. Faster under OS/2 than Win. Can store documents on its HD, as well as use its various trays, paper types, etc. along with duplexing.
