Most people who have reported problems getting Firefox to run have either one of or both these problems: Not the right supporting libraries installed/library conflicts because of older libs in the path or fontconfig not installed properly. In both cases this is because they do not use yum/rpm or don't have it installed properly. The solution is installing the Arca Noae package Manager, as recommended by the developer. If people choose not to do that, they should be prepared to deal with the ensuing problems and not blame the software.
